Street light has not been working for nearly four weeks and is presenting issues as the pavements are in a dreadful condition so people trip as they cannot see the uneven surfaces and are very vulnerable walking on this street at night .

A street lighting fault repair team have visited the unit and they have identified that the electricity supply is faulty. Unfortunately, the cables that supply power to this unit are owned by the electricity company for the area and we are unable to carry out repairs to them on their behalf. Electricity companies have up to 28 working days to complete their repairs but it can, on occasion, take longer in some circumstances. We have advised the electricity company of the fault and we will continue to work with them to resolve the issue as swiftly as possible.
