There are three massive holes on Joiners Lane between Ninnings Road and Joiners Way.
They are dangerous!
I can see they've been reported lots of times so why hasn't any action been taken?!

Getting very dangerous now

This series of potholes represents a serious obstacle. On the downhill lane of the road at one point there are two large adjacent potholes which almost fill the left hand lane. This is near the Upway junction, on a route used by lots of children to walk to their school bus, and on a stretch of the road where undulations of the carriageway limit forward visibility. The last thing you need here is cars going downhill veering into the oppposing lane to avoid striking these huge holes. By the way, they are huge, and they are deep. That's because they are *previous potholes that were temporarily filled* which have simply opened up again in the recent cold weather. TfB, please reconsider your disappointing and unjustified assessment of 5th February!!

The potholes, which were inadequately fixed previously with a tarmac an a spade, are a danger on the downhill lane. Drivers are forced to weave around the road. This is only posible if there are no cyclsts or oncoming vehicles. This has become worse since the snow. I assume any vehicle damage caused will be recompensed by the council as this has been reported several times now and no action taken.

The potholes are causing you to cross the white line in order to avoid.

The size, location in the road and multiple nature of the potholes on the downhill side of Joiners lane opposite Joiners Close mean that cars, including mine, undertake a slalom type activity to avoid them. Given that you can’t pass by them by moving into the yellow demarcation to the left as that still doesn’t avoid them, the only choice is to effectively straddle both lanes over a 20 yard stretch or drive through them. This is dangerous for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians and is a hazard. The road isn’t that well lit at night so sometime soon a cyclist is going over their handlebars in the dark. This problem is getting worse and the can should not continue to be kicked down the road by BCC.

The 3 large potholes on Joiners Lane, near the entrance to Joiners Close are becoming dangerous. They are either going to cause some damage to people’s wheels /tyres or even worse, an accident. They can only be avoided by going partly on to the other side of the road. As a local person I can plan my route down Joiners Lane and wait til the cars coming up the hill have gone passed, before I negotiate the potholes. A person who isn’t aware they are there may suddenly swerve to avoid them and cause a nasty accident!

These potholes are extremely dangerous. It is not possible to avoid them without crossing to the other side of the road. It's like a slalom! This is a serious failure in the road surface.
What will it take before some action is taken? This is a shocking disrespect for public safety.

WHY ARE THESE POTHOLES BEING IGNORED?! Is this website just for show? Is anyone actually reading them apart from genuine members of the public concerned about road safety?! I reported these holes almost 3 months ago! If a cyclist came down this steep road at speed and hit these they would be seriously hurt or killed!!! This is a big news story just waiting to happen. Do something!
