Outside 10 Chapel St (My Beauty Doctor)
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 10:28, Mon 4 February 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1531516.
Recently some tarmac was placed in the side of the road, but it has stopped surface water draining. It now collects in a very large puddle outside my clinic door. The traffic passing every few seconds soaks the water up my front door and this pours down th door filling the sill and in flooding inside my building because of this. In addition my clients stood waiting outside to be let in are soaked by the passing cars. This has only been apparent in the last week or so and obviously noticeable with the recent melting snow and rain. In addition all the tarmac is being thrown back onto the pavement.

This issue outside our clinic seems to be getting worse and worse. The pot hole has still not been fixed and there is loose tarmac all over the pavement outside our front door. You will also see a photo of our front door where it looks like the tarmac has stained our door and nothing has been able to remove the stains. When it rains this is a major issue as our clients have been getting soaked when either visiting or leaving the clinic because as cars drive past the pot hole is deep with water.
