The new LED lights are inefficient

Reported in the Street light dim category anonymously at 17:12, Wed 6 February 2019

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The new LED lights do not shine onto the pavement. They also produce "pockets" of light along the road, not one consistent light. I believe the angle of light need to be improved in all directions, including "backwards" onto the pavement.

  • You wrote "The purpose of the street lights is to illuminate the Public Highway areas of the road and footpath".

This is exactly my point. The new lights do NOT illuminate the footpath, and give patchy illumination of the road.
