Large Pothole in road, approx 24 by 10 inches

Large pothole outside 11a Derehams Lane, been steadily growing and now through tarmac lager and into road layer below tarmac. Further potholes along the road down to the A40 and particularly in narrow section outside Derehams Inn public house.

    We have inspected the defect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy, and the defect does not currently meet the criteria for immediate intervention. This enquiry is now closed, but details of the defect will remain on our system and will continue to be inspected in line with our policy. Further updates will not be given on this enquiry.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 17:10, Thu 7 March 2019

  • I am very confused about why we have had half the road resurfaced which seems reasonable but the pot holes at the bottom of the road have not been dealt with. We are also left with no road markings on the road.
