Recurring Pothole and Road Surface issue since November 2018

Reported in the Road surface category by Jevan Bhamra at 15:54, Mon 11 February 2019

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

A trench was built in Nov 2018 connecting a manhole on Church Lane/outside Wexham Woods to a new BT Green Cabinet. This trench was filled in and days later, it deteriorated creating a long pothole which is extremely dangerous for the traffic on the main carriageway of Church Lane (40mph) and for the traffic turning into and out of Wexham Woods. This pothole was later patched up. However, the pothole has reappeared (as of end of Jan 2019) and is becoming worse - affecting more of the road surface. It is becoming clear that a simple patchwork fix cannot be viable on such an overused section of road so it needs a more permanent solution.
