Junction of Carrington Avenue and Chapel Road

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

A large section of road is subsiding and the kerb is collapsing into the ground, in addition a section of tarmac has started to pivot into the ground and is crating a ledge in the road.

    We have inspected the defect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy, and the defect does not currently meet the criteria for immediate intervention. This enquiry is now closed, but details of the defect will remain on our system and will continue to be inspected in line with our policy. Further updates will not be given on this enquiry.

  • The repair to the kerb outside my house no 23 Chapel Road has been done in a very poor way The dropped kerb is now flush with the road I was informed by Wayne Pickford Buck Highways inspector that there should be slight rise in the Granite setts, the line has been very poor laid as can be seen by the attached pictures, Like a dogs hind leg What contractors are TVW using these days?
