Ref to the below statement from last year. Nothing has changed I'm not sure what corrective action has been done but what needs to happen is the kerb needs raising slightly and the road surface between drains. At the moment the drains are higher than the kerb, resulting in pools of water. You cannot walk along the pavement without been soaked by passing traffic. The drains aren't blocked, that wont fix it. Please observe also the van in the picture is moving to the middle of the road to avoid the pool of water and hence moving into a danger zone with the threat of hitting an on coming vehicle. You need to review this when its raining
Two issues on pavement and road from Green Hill side of Hughenden Road to beginning of Valley Road 1. Condition of payment from Green Hill to the end of Hughenden Road is poor, failed surface, slopped, uneven, patchwork of repairs. 2. Failed road drainage, with excessive surface water during rain, creating long standing pools of water that covers 1/4 to 1/3 of the carriage way heading into Wycombe and over laps onto payment highlighted in issue1. Pedestrians regularly get soaked from passed vehicles. Pedestrians, particularly children, often take risks to avoid being soaked by walking onto the carriageway to get around pools of water.
