At edge of roadway outside Church Farm boundary

Reported in the Blocked drain category by Richard Fletcher at 13:52, Tuesday 12 March 2019

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

There is a drainage culvert that runs from Petford Lea across under the road, then down the village under the verge before discharging into a ditch. A recent survey carried out as part of a planning application for Petford Lea showed that the culvert under the verge outside Church Farm has collapsed. This results in a puddle 3-4" deep across the width of the carriageway opposite The Old Rectory every time there is substantial rainfall, and it is very slow to disperse. It had been like this for at least a year, and possibly up to 2 years..
