Both drains are blocked. Water has covered the pavement and is starting to collect on the road. Can this be attended to ASAP please? Pedestrians walking here are getting drenched by passing vehicles.

  • I’m not sure what your ntervention criteria is, but from a pedestrians point of view, it is clearly not fit for purpose. We only need another heavy shower of rain to make it impossible to walk along this section of pavement without getting drenched with contaminated standing water. This is unacceptable and a potential health hazard, particularly for young children. Maybe the person/s who dreamt up the “intervention criteria” should stand on the pavement in such conditions and see what it’s like. The problem needs intervention immediately, not at some future date.
