Rising bollards failed again
Reported in the Bollards or railings category anonymously at 15:07, Tue 9 April 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1598759.
Observed Tues 09/04/19 2.45pm
Engineers were working on this site yesterday. Witnessed them testing the system by driving their vehicle through it, but today the system is non operational yet again. Is it too much to ask for this system to work continuously without issue?

Reference report number 40097315 The bollards have failed and keep failing because there is possible ducting failure beneath the ground. This issue is being looked at and that is the reason why a few weeks ago the bollards would remain 'up' and not allow buses through as the wiring was damaged. We believe that the wiring caused the issue and is now in need of replacing, due to the fact that the bollards on some occasions would not lower when buses were present meant that TfB had to go out and leave the bollards in the ground.
This anonymous update was received from the Council 24th April - Please note that it doesn't detail how they are going to fix it and, more importantly, when. They have not operated at all for a month now.
