Our street lighting crew have attended the fault and found that either the equipment is damaged beyond repair or has reached the end of its serviceable life.
A works order has been raised to replace the asset and this has been placed in a programme of works which will be completed as soon as possible.

Contract has turned the working traffic lights to the side in both directions. Thus vehicles in both directions cannot see their lights. The traffic sign travelling East says they have priority (round arrow sign). However the sign controlling West bound traffic is hidden behind cones and a parked car (displaying blue badge). Subsequently West bound traffic is coming at speed through the single diversion and has the potential for causing accidents As the East bound traffic are also doing the same. I work near here so have seen this for some time today.

Any news on replacing the unit that has reached the end of its servicable life on S6900? Not replaced 18 months after being identified as needing replacement :(
