Edge of road has long very deep and wide drop
Reported in the Kerb damage / issue category by Gerald Whitehead at 14:49, Mon 6 May 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1621916.
For about 30 yards there is no edge to the road. There is a 3 to 6 inch vertical drop at the edge of the road and wider than a lorry tyre. The depth of the tarmac is visible and then about 4 inches of the concrete base is also visible and the drop is 90 degrees to the road surface. My son in law has just had a blow out to his front near side tyre on the inside edge when it dropped into the gully.

A short term repair seems to be have carried out but this has already beginning to fail again and a dangerous drop at the road edge has started to develop again. The repair does not seem to be strong enough to stop wheels again making a deep grove at the roadside edge.
