This is an ongoing issue reported to you in January of this year ref: CRN40093371 You said that the schemes engineer will carry out an inspection (which he did) and the work would be done by the contractors who resurfaced the road at no cost to the council. You emailed me separately in February saying the inquiry was now closed. The engineer told me that a small drain would be installed to Chanel the rainwater into the main drain and that the work would be done by April. This clearly has not happened. It seems the council have passed the buck and have not followed this complaint up. Can you please tell me who is responsible should a child slip on this area in inclement weather so I can inform the parents should their child be injured. It must be the councils because you have instructed someone to carry out these works and they haven't been done. Is it your thinking that any compensation you have to pay out should an issue happen and court proceedings occur could be cheaper than actually getting the work done. If it is then shame on you all. These children are our future get it sorted.
