A413
Reported in the Road lines / road markings category anonymously at 16:57, Fri 17 May 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1632923.
The junction of Lenborough Road, Padbury, with the A413 is a regular accident black spot. The volume of traffic using Lenborough Road as a rat run to avoid the A421 because of the appallingly late Tingewick Road roundabout project is significant. The junction also sees regular overtaking on the A413 from traffic speeding along it in both directions, and that can cause unexpected encounters with cars emerging from Lenborough Raod with disastrous consequences. This should be NO OVERTAKING at and near the junction. The signage warning of the crossroads was upgraded some years ago on the A413 to include yellow background signs, four signs in total, one on each side of the carriageway in each direction before this junction. The two visible when travelling from Padbury to Buckingham remain, the other two were knocked down a couple of years ago and have never been re-instated. I have corresponded on this in the past.
