Since my original report the panels were all put back into place. However the method used was to bend the panels flat and secure the 'flaps' with plastic cable ties. By bending the panels flat a weakness has been introduced in the panel. By using plastic cable ties it has encouraged the vandals to carry sharp knives in order to cut the ties. As of now all of the plastic cable ties have disappeared. As can be seen from the attached photos the vandals have now started to bend the panels out of place again and in one case have broken the 'flap off' dropping down onto thew railway below. The edge of the tear where the flap has been ripped off is very rough and jagged and is a danger to passers by. This needs urgent attention.
