Bayleys Hatch down Frith hill
Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 21:36, Mon 3 June 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1647950.
From south Heath down towards Great Missenden. This is apparently our SAFE walking route to school. The path is so narrow that only one person can walk abreast and even then cars have to go very wide to avoid hitting you. You can see the attached photos of my son walking to school. This is so dangerous and an accident is very likely to happen soon if this pavement isn’t cleared and made wider!! We only have 7 weeks left at school and my children like to walk down as they say it is healthy and starts their day nicely but they are frightened.

Please could someone tell me if this is ever going to be resolved?? We are in our 3rd week back at school and still our SAFE walking route is so dangerous. If this is. It going to be resolved then we needn’t to look at getting all village children on the bus before an accident happens.

I have over the last few years reported this to the council on numerous occasions. The local police have also contacted you with regard to this path. We were told that the path down to Great Missenden from South Heath would be cleared and made wider in the Autumn of 2019. The pictures show my children walking to school this week on the still very dangerous and narrow path. When is this urgent work going to happen please???
