Opposite 57A Chearsley Road

Reported in the Sign problem category anonymously at 12:04, Thursday 6 June 2019

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

There are three signs, - one is "hidden dip" is obscured, the other two are turned through 90 degrees away from the traffic. This is due to "temporary "scaffolding. It has now been like this for two and a half years. In the last year alone I have seen three near misses at this point with cars overtaking at speed not realising there is a dip ahead. One near miss last week was so close and frightening that I've decided to write to you. I suggest that as there is no prospect of the scaffolding being removed, that the signs are moved about 20 feet towards Chearsley i.e. in front of the barn. The owner of the barn should pay the cost of it being moved. If this is not done then there is a huge risk of an accident.
