Pothole and further broken road surface, almost whole with of that side of road. Lintel bearing for stream culvert also exposed
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:08, Mon 17 June 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1663504.
During the recent heavy rain, this part of the road has been badly flooded and I think as a result of this the road surface has failed under the water and loose material has now been washed away. Now that the water has subsided you can see there is a huge hole in the road (into which someone has placed a road cone to mark the danger) and you can see the concrete joist/lintel for the stream that runs under the road. As this is situated in a hidden dip, it is extremely dangerous and I have already seen two nasty near misses as there is no actual signage to pre-warn drivers. This needs to be repaired urgently.
