Corner of Hunts Hill Lane and Main Road, Naphill.
Reported in the Kerb damage / issue category anonymously at 14:02, Mon 17 June 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1663903.
The granite sets have come loose again on this corner. Please note we do not have any street lighting in Naphill and it would be awful if someone was injured if they were unable to see the broken pavement.

It would have been useful if residents had been informed in advance of road closures. Today is the second time in the past week when I have come across a road closed sign and no information about where exactly the road is being resurfaced. I could only get to my house by asking one of the men in hard hats to move the cones which were at either side of the road works. There is also no information given as to how long the road works will take. Please put signs up in advance of the road works so that residents can plan their journeys. Consideration on the part of the council, or whoever it is that plans these schemes would be much appreciated by the local residents. Thank you.

May I remind you that there is no street lighting along Naphill and the junction where these loose sets are is a very busy one where cars go to the local shop and use this area as a turning point. There are many senior citizens that live along there and others using the bus service who come home in the dark; the pavement is also very narrow. It is, therefore, extremely dangerous for anyone to walk along there in the dark. I witnessed a lady with two sticks after a hip operation nearly falling again. Even though she knows they are loose, she caught her foot on the edge of a stone as a car had moved the set further along the road again. She is unable to carry a torch with her sticks. This maintenance should be done as a priority before serious accidents happen. It is not the first time this work has been repaired and had it been done properly last time, they would not have come loose again. I am amazed this has been reported already by someone else and you consider the matter CLOSED! I would like this matter reopened please and a further inspection carried out without any further delays. Thank you.
