Fallen tree and deceased willow are posing an increasing threat to local passers-by. A large section of the willow recently fell away from the tree, luckily no-one was injured, however the rest of the tree is clearly unstable and required destruction.

We have inspected the defect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy, and the defect does not currently meet the criteria for immediate intervention. This enquiry is now closed, but details of the defect will remain on our system and will continue to be inspected in line with our policy. Further updates will not be given on this enquiry.
