Road surface broken up due to subsidence over a distance of about 20m
Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 18:11, Thu 20 June 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 14 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1668706.
Road damage has been evident for two or three years at least. Extends for several metres under the trees. Road surface has subsided and is broken up, kerb stones likewise, leading to vehicles tilting over when passing with two wheels near the kerb and two wheels not. Otherwise you have to drive too close to parked vehicles for safety.

Following the report of the broken-up road surface, subsidence and uneven kerbs, Clearly the site was inspected, as white lines were marked out indicating the affected area - as per my report, extending over 20m. A repair was effected, consisting of a bucketful of tarmac deposited on the road somewhere within the white lines. It represents a totally ineffectual attempt at repair, and makes no difference at all to the road condition. No comment was make on the reporting system. A better, effective result is still expected.
