Jcn Slapton Road and Ivinğhow Aston Road
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:23, Fri 21 June 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1669405.
This defect has been reported again at the request of Calvin Richardson by Ivinghoe and Slapton Parish Councils as it appears to have slipped through the net again. The request came at the GBWI LAF meeting recently. Today we witnessed a near collision at this site between a 4x4 and an invalid scooter . They missed each other by inches after evading action was taken. Had this been 2 full size vehicles it could have been a major accident. This was a direct result of the road defect which is on a totally blind bend. This issue has now been around for a couple of years and has been reported many times. The defect is approximately 4m long x 1m wide. Traffic is increasing on this road most notably HGV'S so this defect is now causing a greater concern as a cause for a major incident.
