Builders' van illegally parked on double line on corner of Hartwell Drive and Gregories road #43.
Van parked on double line is blocking view on exit from Hartwell Drive there is no way to see approaching cars. I just narrowly avoided an accident with collision from car coming east on Gregories Road into my exit path from Hartwell Drive when taking my son the school 7:45am, Fri 5th July.
I stopped my car, spoke to one of the builders pointing out their van was illegally parked and blocking the view of the road. The builder was not interested to listen to me, said nothing to do with him. I asked him whose vehicle it belonged to from the site, he said 'gas board' (it isn’t as can be seen on the lettering. I asked could he ask the driver to move it along the road , he walked away. I then told him I was reporting it to the Council. He turned away. The vehicle is still there at 8:15am. Other road users are facing a potentially dangerous situation when exiting Hartwell Drive, especially at this time for school drop offs and children inside vehicles going to school.
