Turning from Blind Lane into Woodside
Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 09:12, Wed 3 July 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1682779.
Woodside and Woodside Avenue were resurfaced on Monday. The junction onto Blind Lane has always been raised but with the resurfacing this has become even higher. Is there anything which can be done to make this junction smoother?

The new read surface is not uniformed and some of the old road surface is showing through in a number of places

While I understand the surface is not uniformed, the turning from Blind Lane onto Woodside is no where near the same level. This requires you to slow down to turn into the road significantly more than for other roads. From looking around other roads near here, there are not the same road height issues as here.

This area need sloping etc so it's smoother for the vehicle to go into Woodside, please look into this and get this matter resolved.

Unfortunately I do not accept the response provided saying that as cars drive over the turning the surface will get better. The road has always been raised so you can feel a bump as you turn into the road. All we would like is for there to be a smooth turning from Blind Lane, rather than the significant ridge that there currently is. No other roads in this area are like this so I don't understand why you seem to think this is acceptable.
