A41 junction with Holiday Inn

Reported in the Traffic lights problem at temporary roadworks category anonymously at 19:17, Tuesday 9 July 2019

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

Absolute disgrace. Total gridlock and took me 1 hour to move from traffic backed up down to the tip at College North to Holiday Inn where three pathetic traffic lights on three way system were letting about 2 cars through at a time. I was late for work and missed two appointments at some business cost to myself. It is a disgrace that no one has checked the timings of these and causing such inconvenience to so many people. Why do you not test these things before packing up and going home? Also, why is it not resolved more quickly. This is crazy and shows utter incompetent management in Highways. My wife left 40 minutes earlier for work this morning to get to school, and it was backed up down the A41 then. It is ridiculous. What about emergency vehicles? Not to mention rate paying citizens going about their business (or trying to) when all this is doing is accommodating more development that no one wants anyway, bringing more houses to an already over populated, creaking infrastructure, where developers will get away with putting nothing back into the town in terms of amenities. A disgrace.
