A41 New Road
Reported in the Traffic lights problem at temporary roadworks category anonymously at 12:10, Monday 15 July 2019
Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later
Appreciate this is not a Transport for Bucks fault, however the maintenance works happening here are a joke. If last week wasn't bad enough why have they now reduced it down to 1 lane, absolute madness. Please can you investigate and speak with the developers to sort this out, it cannot go on until November. 53 mins to do less than 5 miles is unacceptable.
Thank you for your report which is currently under review.
We will investigate this and if you have provided an email address, we respond to you within 10 working days.
We will continue to update you by email (if provided) when your report reaches key stages.

I wish to protest in the strongest terms about your ridiculous plan to prevent right turns from New Road onto the A41. This is a totally unacceptable idea for the hundreds of people who take this route, often several times again. The inconvenience should be experienced by the developers and not the road users. Four months plus of this will cause so much extra traffic through Aston Clinton and will frustrate other residents. I suggest putting back all the original lights and having a stop board on the infrequent occasions that the developers need to make changes to the road.

I would like to ask a question regarding the ongoing saga of the A41/New Rd junction temporary traffic lights.I am now beginning to believe, now that I cannot turn right out of New Rd,the planning of the lights has been done by the same team negotiating Brexit or a new computer game company where you gain more points with more traffic chaos created !! Is there anyone with the ability to sort out this problem ? 50 years ago this week a man walked on the moon. 2019 we cannot sort out a set of temporary traffic lights. Poor old England !!

No traffic jam this morning? Oh the traffic lights were gone ! Yes gone. No temporary lights or any on the posts What does that say about the design of the lights. Either no thought at all was put into the lights or they are made slow the traffic so much they cause traffic jams?
