Wellington Road

Reported in the Street light not working category anonymously at 13:44, Wednesday 24 July 2019

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

4 street lights are still out on Wellington Road with no explanation since May 19.

Checked again last night and still none are working.

I first reported this problem in May 19 and you keep saying you have fixed it and you haven't.

I have attached a picture this time as proof.

  • A street lighting fault repair team have visited the unit and they have identified that the electricity supply is faulty. Unfortunately, the cables that supply power to this unit are owned by the electricity company for the area and we are unable to carry out repairs to them on their behalf. Electricity companies have up to 28 working days to complete their repairs but it can, on occasion, take longer in some circumstances. We have advised the electricity company of the fault and we will continue to work with them to resolve the issue as swiftly as possible.

  • I have just gone outside and can confirm that the 4 x lights are still NOT working.

We saw some work being done on one of them, but what ever they have done has not worked. I will post a picture of proof up soon.

Please can you get the lights looked at again.
