Road sign failure

The road sign on the A4010 heading from West Wycombe to Princess Risborough direction, just before the Red Lion pub, which displays directional information for Lacey Green / Walters Ash has become loose on pole, possibly hit, the sign has been seen pointing into field and swinging on pole risk of it failing and falling at peak levels when lorries pass and create force.

We have inspected the defect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy, and the defect does not currently meet the criteria for immediate intervention. This enquiry is now closed, but details of the defect will remain on our system and will continue to be inspected in line with our policy. Further updates will not be given on this enquiry.

Sign has now fallen off the pole and in now on the verge.
