Blocked drain cover
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 09:41, Thu 8 August 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1724476.
There is a badly blocked drain on Newtown Road, in front of 7 b Newtown Road. This has been reported previously, but was not acted upon due to a parked vehicle restricting access to it. The drain is now accessible. Whilst writing, there are two (storm?) drains either side of the junction of Newtown Road and Newfield Gardens, which are in need of repair, due to regular impaction by cars and lorries.

I'm afraid this report is not good enough ! Every time that it rains hard, the water that cannot escape via this drain rushes down the road like a torrent and ends up partially flooding my front drive. This is pure laziness on the part of BCC, as this incident has been reported in the past and been acted upon by clearing the debris that is blocking the drain. Do you really want me to take action myself
