Road Drain needs clearing in Cole Road, Aylesbury.
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 21:35, Wed 14 August 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1732579.
Drain in road outside 1 to 5 Cole Road has never been cleared out to my knowledge so when it rains hard the drain becomes full & overflows onto the pavement area. You will however need to advise the residents when your attending so there are no vehicles parked to obstruct the drain access.

This drain badly needs a clean as far as I am aware its never been cleaned whilst we have lived here due to parked cars blocking access to drain itself. Have made council aware of need to let residents know when they will attend so that cars can be moved ahead of the drain being cleaned.

Still waiting for this drain within the turning circle to be cleaned and in the downpour again today the drain totally blocked and the water was as high as the kerb and coming over onto the path.

There are resident cars parked by the drain - I have suggested to BCC that they write to let them know what day they will be attending but so far they have rocked up twice & not been able to access the drain to clean it because nobody knew they were coming!

They attended but because they did not notify the residents who park there of course they couldn't get to the drain which still has not been cleaned!. Fed up of asking for it too be cleaned tbh. The gutters are full of grass & leaves as well because nobody cleans them out what happened to the machine street cleaners?

Frankly it was a waste of time reporting it! nothing has been done to clean the drain winters almost here they will be quick enough to hike the Council tax next year though.
