  • This is going to damage cars and is hard to see because it is full of water. I guess its a mains water leak, as water is flowing out. If so throwing tarmac in the hole will only prevent cars being damaged for a short while because it will quickly fail again. A warning sign and a few cones around it will help prevent accidents until thames water can fix it.

  • Any car that bursts a tire going over this hole or swerves to avoid this hole could hit oncoming traffic head on. I think you may have a duty of care to prevent people from being hurt or killed.
