Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1737185.
My house is 150 years old with shallow foundations and stands approx. 1.0m from the road kerb edge. Over the years a number of utilities have dug up the road - water main in 1999, electricity in 2000, telecoms in 2016. This has resulted in settlement of the backfill material and discontinuities in the road surfacing. There are lorries and farm tractors/trailers that pass along the roads to and from Little Brickhill and to and from Home Farm. The vibration from certain traffic is being transmitted to my roadside rooms - lounge, study and bedrooms which has increased in severity over the pass few years. This has realised itself in cracks in the house render and floors. I consider the vibration is a factor of the vehicle type and its speed and the road surfacing. I would be grateful if you could visit the roads outside my house, consider the option of removing the road surface irregularities and providing a smooth road surface.
