AS BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL REFUSE TO REPLACE THIS COLLAPSED SECTION OF ROAD, PLEASE ADVISE HOW I CAN CLAIM BACK FINANCIAL COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGE TO MY MOTORCYCLE CAUSED BY THIS ROAD WHICH HAS COMPLETELY FAILED?

The road surface has completely collapsed across most of the road, I nearly crashed my motorcycle trying to avoid this ridiculous excuse for a road, that has been like this for ages now (getting worse over the last 2 years)

  • Can you please also include a link to the criteria for warranting repair, as I can't believe a 2" deep meteor sized crater doesn't fall within your criteria.

  • Thank you for your report.
    We have inspected the defect in line with our Highway Safety Inspection Policy, and the defect does not currently meet the criteria for immediate intervention. This enquiry is now closed, but details of the defect will remain on our system and will continue to be inspected in line with our policy. Further updates will not be given on this enquiry.
