Road surface outside 5 Sycamore drive

Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 11:58, Thursday 26 September 2019

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

The road was resurfaced recently and in the main is excellent. However, what has now been created at this place (wasn't there previously) is a depression which collects rainwater. The drains are now an inch or two higher and therefore do not help. In winter this will likely form an ice patch hazardous to cars (skidding) and people (slipping/ hurting themselves) etc. It is also something of an eyesore/ minor hazard when just pooled water. Please could you consider some remedial action? Thank you

  • Iā€™m also a resident in Sycamore Drive. Over the weekend & last night during the torrential rain, the puddle had become quite extensive. It had spread into the middle of the road & I can see that if this happens in the middle of winter, during sub zero temperatures, that its going to be potentially dangerous to both motorists & pedestrians alike. It really needs levelling or somewhere for the water to drain away...

  • I have included a better picture of how extensive the area of no drainage is
