This drain is now and continually blocked which floods the road completely after heavy rain with up to a foot of water. Being on a blind bend, not only is it dangerous for opposing and traffic in/out of Brindle Lane, the access to "Woodview" is flooded along with the Public Footpath and the water spills into the drive of the dwelling opposite. This problem that has been reported repeatedly over many years, affected residents have actually paid themselves for the drain to be cleared and yet there has been no "fix" or effective, scheduled maintenance by those responsible.
