Outside 14 New Road
Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 16:27, Wed 2 October 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1790090.
Ref report number 40112113, foreman stated that they followed the existing levels in the footway. However this is not the case as we have lived here for 15 years and never had problems turning right into our drive or turning left out of the drive. Our car is a standard height of the ground its only since the re-surfacing that all cars now bottom out. As part of your investigation have you driven into and out of the drive as it will be clear there is an issue. I think the issue is that their should be a drop which was there where the photo is marked in red similar to the road side, but now there is bump, that scrapes the underside of vehicles

Please use the following calculation https://en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ Breakover_angle to work out the vehicle break over angle, only high clearance vehicles like SUV will not bottom out.

Picture on the left shows our neighbour's drive which has a drop ours on the right does not. Had a few visitors this weekend and they all bottomed out. Damaged to be accessed and i fear they will be many claims if this is not rectified soon.
