Road markings are no longer visible creating a dangerous junction on a bus route. Please consider re marking this junction.

    This has been added to our programme of works. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be carried out, we work on a priority based risk matrix in line with our Highway Inspection Policy and therefore programme times can change due to priority based working.

  • Council have advised its on their programme. The Council marked up all the roads around the area, but for some unknown reason this was not repaired. It’s on a bus route and at the junction of an awkward crossing point. Would love to see the Risk assessment as to why this was left.

  • Would like to see the Risk assessment used by the Council to determine a junction does not need to have the road markings repaired. This is a bus route and a bad junction which people just ignore the rights of way. There have been several accidents on this junction with people pulling out and not stopping as the road markings are worn away. A few weeks after the initial post the Council re furnished a considerable amount of road markings not 35m from this junction
