#95 hedgerley lane to lakes lane
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 15:40, Sun 6 October 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 7 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1794509.
Local drains aren't draining, water from Hedgerley Lane and Lakes Lane are accumulating at the road junction and it's not draining away. Has been reported numerous times and it remains an issue - impassable by pedestrians. Assume drains need to be unblocked again, however they appear to be unable to cope with any significant rain fall.

23/11 Following light rain yesterday, the water built up again and the rain today has caused further flooding of the road making it impassable to pedestrians yet again. The status says actions scheduled but there has been no action taken in over a month - when will this be resolved or how do I need to escalate this issue?

26/11 Flooding isn't draining away, even with little / no rain. It now appears that the sewage manhole cover in the middle of the road outside #95 Hedgerley lane is flooding further sewage into the street - there is now a sewage smell in the area. This has been reported to Thames Water however their resolution may be dependent on resolving the original issue with the blocked drains.

4/12 Drains have been cleared and to date, no flooding (note that there hasn't been any signicant rain in this period). However, the road is covered in mud and leaves and this needs to be cleaned before any further rain as this will be washed into the drains causing further blockages.

24/12 Road is still under water (13 days) and is not draining away. Even with no rain, the water is pouring out of the drain by the water hydrant outside number 79 Hedgerley Lane and this is flowing down the lane to the junction with Lake Lane. This has now been an issue for 2 months - could someone update me with proposed actions and schedule to resolve this issue?

20/1 Road flooded again over the weekend, the water still hasn't drained away. Water is still pouring from the hydrant / drain outside #79 and flowing down Hedgerley Lane. The local drains are still blocked. Is the any update please? Not had any feedback since the issue was raised.

7/2 The four drains outside of No. 97 & No. 95 have been cleared today but the 5 drains from No. 79 to No. 93 Hedgerley Lane are still blocked - future rain will still flow down Hedgerley Lane to the junction of Lakes Lane and overwhelm the cleared drains.
