Large lorries mounting pavements as road is to narrow to pass and stay on the road

Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category by Akeley Parish Council at 13:55, Tuesday 15 October 2019

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

Lorries mounting the pavement is a very frequent occurence on Main Street Akeley, due to the narrow road and heavy lorries that are allowed to pass each other. There mybe damage to the road, pavement kerb stones. Also there could potentially be damage to the residents property. The pavement is not designed for this sort of load, and many services run in ducts under the pavement surface (eg telephone).
