This drain is still blocked and today the size of the flood made it necessary for pedestrians to cross into the main road to walk around it. The standing water lasts for many days after the rain had stopped and is attacking the foundations of the wall in the photo at Hill House, Pulpit Lane. This yet another report of this blocked drain which floods the road every time it rains yet no remedial action had been taken!

It gets worse. Heavy rain means the road floods. The drain is blocked and needs clearing urgently
