52-53 High Street Marlow, outside the Chequers Pub
Reported in the Footpath / pavement problem category by Debbie Abbott at 10:31, Mon 21 October 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1812977.
We received the following message in from a resident that had a fall on the 19th October 2019.
Whilst walking in Marlow High Street , I tripped over a loose paving slab. Causing me to fall to the ground, loose my glasses, damage my wrist watch and bruising my knee, hand and causing a severe pain in my left side.
As you can imagine I was severely shaken and many of the customers sitting outside the Chequers pub came to my aid. One in particular has given me his name and telephone number to be a witness to this incident.
This is a very serious matter and could have caused more severe injuries, as there are many loose paving slabs in the High Street.
The watch is no longer working. Also I now have bruises above my left eye and on my left hip.
