Entire road - Black Horse Avenue

Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 15:52, Mon 21 October 2019

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The whole road and pavement needs to be inspected, and then re-surfaced. There are pot holes the entire length of the road, and the pavement is dangerous. This road is used heavily as it is an access to a local school.

  • Thank you for your last update in November, but very little appears to have been done. I can only see that one pothole was fixed and the remaining ones have got significantly worse, including a large one in the turning circle outside our house. It seems that our road has a very low priority rating as does Waterside, which has deep potholes in the centre along most its' length. Blackhorse Avenue is a heavily used road as it is the main entrance for Waterside Academy School. it also hosts a dancing school in the evenings and at weekends which again brings more traffic to the school. The pathway is also heavily used by the parents and children attending the school, as well as the residents. I find the pavement particularly difficult when pushing my own grandchild in her buggy, and can sympathize with people having to try and hold on to other children at the same time. I would be very grateful if you could reassess the road/pavements as I feel they are being seriously neglected. Many thanks Shirley Roberts
