In the mouth of the junction of Wakeman Rd and The Parade
Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 15:23, Tue 12 November 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1843124.
This junction was resurfaced some time ago and there is a dropped kerb for the impared sight people. On both side where the kerb drops to the road the surface has sunk and it now means that pedestrians have to step into quite deep puddles spanning approx 2m x 3m when the rain is at its worse. Alternatively they have to step off the kerb nearer to the main road which is obviously quite dangerous. Today with the puddle at its worse I witnessed a van come around from the The Parade and turn left into Wakeman Rd as it did it completely splashed a mother and toddler who were on the kerb thinking about where to cross. This needs remedying swiftly as winter sets in, not to mention as tempratures drop to freezing and the water freezes.
