  • I support this request. Since the street lights at either end of the path have been replaced by new low-energy lamps with no spill, this path is effectively unlit. Previously this path relied on the spill from the lights at each end.

It requires either a new lamp on the path or spotlights added to the lamps at each end pointing down the path

  • The repair process has identified that there is a fault with the electricity supply and an order has been issued to the relevant supplier to repair.

  • Our street lighting crew have attended the fault and found that either the equipment is damaged beyond repair or has reached the end of its serviceable life.
A works order has been raised to replace the asset and this has been placed in a programme of works which will be completed as soon as possible.

  • I'm not sure you've identified the problem. I don't believe the existing lamps, one at either end of the path, are damaged - they both work - nor have they reached the end of their useful life - they're both new.

The problem is the new lighting doesn't spill as far as the previous lighting did, so the path is now unlit. It requires either different lighting installed or a new light installed in the middle of the path.
