VERY poorly programmed traffic lights

Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 00:07, Thu 28 November 2019

The traffic light system that Affinity Water have in place here is a complete joke. This evening at 6pm I had to wait for 55 mins in a queue of traffic over a mile long, backed right back down Hyde Heath Road, due to the appalling programming of the traffic lights. When I finally got through the lights, there were TWO cars waiting to travel eastwards towards Chesham on the other side of the lights. Compare this to a line of at least 200 cars stuck in a mile long queue the other way - it is a disgrace. I trust Affinity Water will be fined for this debacle and their inability to programme a set of traffic lights. They have also outstayed their licence by the look of it, as the work was scheduled to have finished today. They haven't finished, as the road is still subject to light controls, and nobody was on site this evening.
