Large pothole approximately 3 inches deep and over a foot long compounded by subsidence of the road
Reported in the Road surface category anonymously at 15:17, Sat 30 November 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1869260.
The road surface of akeley rd/chapel lane has been degrading rapidly over the last couple of months. About a month ago this pothole opened up. unfortunately as the road has subsided and cracked in the middle we have to drive over to the side of the road to avoid grounding out our vehicles and causing severe damage. this pothole now prevents that as to go through it would likely cause damage in its own right. as we live at hall farm we have no choice but to use this section of road. if some repairs are not effected very soon i am concerned and genuinely worried that we may end up unable to make it down the road at all, in fact just yesterday i scraped the bottom of the car trying to get home from a visit to the garage! Please, please can this be sorted swiftly as it is only a matter of time before serious damage to our vehicles will result or we simply become stranded. Thank you
