Path from Ledborough Lane to st Michaels's Green
Reported in the Sign problem category anonymously at 17:22, Wed 4 December 2019
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1874968.
The public footpath (BEA 40/1) running between Ledborough Lane and St Michael's Green was subject to an Order converting it to a Shared-Use Cycleway earlier in 2019. It has since been widened and re-surfaced.At the same time the public footpath sign and a "No Cyling " sign (red and white disc) were removed from the northern end of the path (see second photo). The green PF sign was, however, left in place at the southern end and, rather bizarrely, a new red and white "No Cycling" sign has more recently been installed at the southern end (see first photo which shows both signs on a single signpost). Signage should be consistent at both ends and make clear whether the path is a Shared-Use Cycleway or a (non-cycling) Public Footpath.
