Between Crowne Plaza, near Seer Green and Jordans

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later
I drive on the A40 between Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield every morning and evening as part of my commute, which at this time of year is always in the dark. The flooding on this section of road has got out of control. I appreciate that the current situation (this week) is perhaps unprecedented (storm brendan) but this same excuse cannot be used for the fact that this road floods badly on an almost weekly basis it seems. Also, given the lack of street lights on the flooded section (between Crowne Plaza and turn off for Seer Green and Jordans), it makes it extremely dangerous when travelling in the dark. Another vehicle was standed in the water when I was travelling this morning. Please advise what is being done to address this ongoing issue?
