Road directly outside my house 243 Gt Hivings
Reported in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 09:00, Fri 17 January 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1943928.
The single surface drain is wholly inadequate whenever it rains. Constant flooding several inches deep and approx high 30meters in length is particularly bad outside my house where fills the entire road width (see pics from my driveway). Passing cars constantly wash mud, muck, debris and litter and other corrosives on to the footpath and my driveway which I have to regular clear. Also, this damages my car (underside, wheels) when we reverse out of the driveway. I am also concerned about infections from standing water (lasting weeks) that also has any sewerage water from the single drain. I have had to live with this for many months each year and is getting worse. This section of the road requires better drainage to prevent flooding again.
